Commandant *ODIMBA NICHOLSON CHUKWUEMEKA KSM, JP* is the 20th substantive State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command. He hails from Obowo Local Government area of Imo State.
He had his secondary school education at Williams memorial secondary school in Afugiri, Umuahia, Abia State.
He holds a Bachelor of science (B.Sc) degree in Physics/Electronics from University of Port Harcourt in 1994, and subsequently earned a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science/Information Communication Technology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi in 1997. He is currently pursuing a masters degree, in Peace and Conflict Resolution at the National Open University of Nigeria.
Commandant Odimba was enlisted into the NSCDC in 2005 as an Inspector of Corps and has risen through the ranks to attain the enviable position of Commandant of Corps in 2024.
He has served in various Strategic and operational capacities across 9 State Commands/Formations of the NSCDC.
His postings include: NSCDC National Headquarters Abuja, Civil Defence Academy Abuja, Yobe State Command, FCT Command, Enugu State Command, Imo State Command, Ebony State Command, Zone 5 Owerri, Zone 13 Awka.

He is a devout Knight of St. Mulumba (KSM) of the Catholic Church.
His hobbies include reading, making researches and travelling.
He is happily married and blessed with five wonderful children.
