Honourable Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning , Dr. Doris Anite-Uzoka visited the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Prof. Taiwo Oyedele, at the Ministry of Finance, to deliberately align our respective mandates in pursuit of national stability and progress.
Our discussions were focused on establishing a functional convergence between national security and fiscal policy. We recognize that a robust economic architecture cannot exist without absolute stability, just as sustained military operational readiness requires a predictable financial foundation.
To this end, we have engineered a purposeful synergy between the Defence and Finance Ministries. Moving forward, our operational strategies will integrate directly with economic planning to ensure that security interventions serve as active catalysts for economic confidence, market stability, and national development.
This collaboration marks a highly productive transition toward unified governance, ensuring that both sectors operate in total lockstep to secure and stabilize the nation.
Anite-Uzoka also congratulated the Honourable Minister on his appointment and wished him success in the enormous task of steering the nation’s economic direction.
