It was an engaging audience with the UK National Security Adviser (NSA), Mr Jonathan Powell, at our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Bianca Ojukwu, during the ongoing 4th UK–Nigeria Security and Defence Partnership dialogue in Abuja, Nigeria.
He was accompanied by the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, H.E Richard Montgomery and officers of the British High Commission, Abuja.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral security ties , intensifying collaboration in the fight against terrorism and multidimensional regional security threats, maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea, Assets tracing, and anticipatory intelligence.
