The DG, of (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf-Buba Yakub, says Nigeria’s technical assistance programme is enhancing the country’s international image through skills transfer and diplomacy. which is line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration.
Yakub stated this in Abuja at Conference Room, NTAC Complex, Jabi, Abuja. Monday, 21st September, 2026, he applauds President Bola Tinubu for his continue support and Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Established in 1987 under the administration of General Ibrahim Babangida, the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps was created with a vision as bold as any in Nigeria’s post-independence history. The vision was simple in concept but revolutionary in implication: Nigeria, then one of Africa’s most prosperous nations, blessed with educated professionals across every field — would share that human capital with less-developed countries across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
