The visit was an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between NLNG and the Federal Government, and it highlighted NLNG’s continued contribution to Nigeria’s economy, energy security and national development.
Discussions during the visit focused on NLNG’s contribution to government revenue, domestic energy supply and social development, including progress on the Bonny–Bodo Road. A key highlight of the conversation was an update on Train 7. Train 7 is a landmark project that is set to expand NLNG’s production capacity, strengthen Nigeria’s position in the global LNG market, create jobs and provide greater value from the nation’s gas resources. Completing this project remains a top priority as it reflects NLNG’s commitment to Nigeria and the stakeholders it serves.
